The IACM overhead switch is generally placed at the origin of major bypasses and makes it possible to isolate a section of network comprising several clusters of substations.
It complies with the NFC 64-140 type II standard
Operating principle
This device consists of a pantograph disconnector with a parallel air breaking device consisting of a zicral whip with wide clearance and high travel speed.
It is fitted with a tumbler-type stored-energy control giving a closing speed independent of the operator, guaranteeing closing power.
Construction
- Reinforced hot-dip galvanized frame (according to standard NF EN ISO 1461).
- Pantographs reinforced with spacers. 4 contacts per phase.
- Double closing spark arrester per phase.
- Non-adjustable load breaking device.
- RP3 tempered glass insulator.
- Shaft joints on bronze bearings.
- Shaft end stops on shock absorbers.
- Connections by terminal with a 12.5 mm diameter hole.
- Optional connection by TST.7 pin
Fixing fitting:
– Chairs fixed by 6 rods on the post.
– Framework and chairs with device (keyed) prohibiting incorrect positioning of the switch
– Galvanized steel linkage and transmissions
– Aluminum control panel.
